Job Purpose

As a Technical Representative, you will perform technical inspections, audits at designated customers, conduct product demonstrations and provide training to customers. You will play a key role in the sales process, communicate with customers on various levels, and coach colleagues in your own and other areas.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide appropriate levels of contact, service, and support to customers, ensuring our paint-systems are correctly implemented and used.
• Proactively prevent and solve technical problems occurring at existing customers.
• Conduct and assist in the testing process and the implementation of new products and technologies.
• Cooperate with the technical department in handling complex technical issues and educate customers on solutions.
• Support product development with prototype selection advice and test market execution.
  

Experience

• We are looking for a candidate with a technical education/high school/MBO 4 degree and preferably FROSIO, NACE 1&2 certification, and RMCI qualification.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Yacht, Marine or Protective Coatings or other coating industries is required.
• Proficiency in English and local language
• Proficiency in MS Office and Customer Relationship Management System
• Solid communication skills, customer focus, ability to adapt, driven and self-starter
• Coaching ability
