Marketing Communications Manager

The role:
The Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible in bringing the O'Neill Brand to life, through exciting and on brand campaign management and execution, ensuring brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints. You will be part of the O'Neill's Marketing team and gain experience in cross-functional and cross-cultural communication and stakeholder management.

Key accountabilities:

• Developing, coordinating and implementing the annual marketing communications plan and calendar, through content, and storyline implementation across all communication channels to establishing coherent internal and external messaging and brand equity;
• Responsible for annual brand planning process incorporating regional/global guidelines and strategy;
• Full campaign management in creating multiple seasonal campaigns ensuring they are delivered in time and in full, ensuring that all deliverables are met for digital marketing, social, PR, trade and retail marketing;
• Defining key targets and quality metrics for marketing communications initiatives and reviewing and evaluating results upon completion of the activities;
• Overall understanding of campaign budgets across multiple channels, ensuring budget is managed in line with the objectives;
• Effectively liasing and interacting with internal and external creative and marketing agencies;
• Close collaboration, challenger and sparring partner for Product, Sales, Sports Marketing, and eCom, making recommendations (e.g. new marketing channels or collab opportunities);
• Guardian of the brand across all channels and consumer touchpoints; making sure all marketing activities are on brand.

Who you are:

We are looking for a self-motivated, positive team player who is passionate about actions sports like surf, ski, snowboard and/or kiting with 5 years relevant work experience, within brand or product marketing, preferably in the sports industry. You are the voice of the consumer and are able to align multiple functions against one common goal.
