As a Customer Service employee, you are the first point of contact for private and business visitors who contact CORPUS by phone or e-mail. You speak to these visitors in a friendly and patient manner. They are looking for a nice day out for themselves, with family, friends or colleagues, and you will help them with that. You are also able to convince teachers looking for an educational experience that CORPUS is a good choice and you arrange everything around their reservations. In addition to the "journey through man", CORPUS has an impressive conference center. Business visitors who want to organize an event there regularly come into contact with CORPUS via Customer Service to find their way to our conference team. What does the position entail?

• You answer visitors by phone and e-mail. You can answer a wide variety of questions in a pleasant and clear manner.
• You will book reservations from visitors, following telephone or digital contact.
• You will ensure that business guests are put in touch with the CORPUS conference team for outings with packages.
• You will perform various (administrative) tasks.
• You actively listen (and read), advise and relieve the visitor, by thinking with them and creating clarity.
• You are not afraid of complaints or awkward conversations, but rather a challenge. You are service-oriented and also succeed in turning a dissatisfied customer into a happy visitor.

What do we ask of you?

• You have an affinity for various computer systems and work accurately.
• You have a good command of the Dutch language and you can also express yourself in English. If you can also do this in German, that's a plus.
• You have great empathy, like to think and are curious. This way you make sure that you can provide our visitors with good advice. Moreover, you do not lose sight of the commercial aspect.
• You have experience as a customer service representative or can demonstrate that you have the right mindset and skills.
• You are flexible and sociable. When busy or ill, you are happy to jump in and help out your colleagues.
• You are available on weekends and (partially) during holidays. You would like to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.
